Kildaire Farms Architectural Review Committee

The Kildaire Farms Home Owners Association maintains a committee of volunteer homeowners who are tasked with evaluating architectural change requests from homeowners. Any exterior change requires submission and approval of an Architectural Review Form. You can find the form and related documents at the bottom of this page or on our Important Documents page.

You do not need to file an Architectural Change Request form for standard maintenance that does not result in a change, e.g. repainting your house with the same color combination. You also do not need a change request to prune tree limbs.

  • Exterior House Painting (color change)

  • Home addition

Architectural Review Process

The ARC committee will process all requests within 30 calendar days. There are 3 outcomes, approved, approved with conditions, or denied. The committee tries very hard to avoid denied applications. If you have concerns about your proposed change, a committee member would be happy to meet with you and help you understand your options.

You can influence processing speed by providing complete, and clear information about your proposed change.

  1. Download and fill out the Architectural Review Form.

  2. Include helpful documentation like color samples, drawings, and photos.

  3. Gather signatures from neighboring houses with a sight-line to the change.

  4. Note: Signatures signal neighbor is aware of the change, not giving approval/denial

  5. Send completed form to:
